· Dia dhaoibh go léir. We are having great fun during Seachtain na Gaeilge. We hope to have dancing and singing during the week.
· It’s ‘School Report’ time of year again. A written report on your child(ren)’s progress will be in the post to you before the end of the month. We hope it makes you happy.
· We hope you all have a very enjoyable St. Patrick’s Day.
· After St. Patrick’s Day (the week beginning Monday, 21st March) full school uniform must be worn to school every day except on p.e. day. Please check with your child as to which day (s)he has p.e.
· We would like to remind you once again that legislative requirements and our Childcare Policy mean that we must report any concerns regarding the welfare of pupils to the Health Services Executive i.e. evidence/reports of sexual abuse, physical punishment, neglect, etc.
· Parents Room closes each day as the school closes.
· We would again remind you that the toilets on the ground floor are for the children only.
· Well done all you parents who have been attending classes.

· All those parents who brought children to sing in the choir for our Service of Reconciliation and of Light for First Communion and Confirmation girls. We really appreciate the effort to which you went.
· All those parents who are Walking on Wednesday;
· Who have volunteered to help with the garden or with ‘Reading Big Books’ and World Book Day reading. We appreciate all you are doing.
· *WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO US
· We had great fun for World Book Day. We visited bookshops in town, got new books and had lots of reading events in school. We all gathered together in the Hall and read our books for a little while.
· We are going to be especially well behaved during Lent. Some of us are visiting the Church or going to Mass.
· Seachtain na nGaeilge is being celebrated in school this week and next week. We are all ‘ag labhairt gaeilge’. Beidh ‘Tráth na gCeist’ ag Seomra 5 agus Seomra 12. We are looking forward to having a Ceili in the Hall next week.
· We have lots of visitors in our school at the moment. We have Maria from Spain visiting us in Room 5.. We have an old friend, Shannon working with us in Room 3. Cead Mile Failte Romhaibh go leir.
· We are just getting ready to make our Roof Garden grow again this year. Look out for updates. Already the ‘Incredible Edibles’ have been in touch with us.
· Everybody from First Class upwards is enjoying their After School Clubs some of which will end just after Easter.
· Girls from Room 5 and 16 had a Service of Reconciliation and of Light in preparation for Confirmation and First Communion. They were all super. Special thanks to our Third, Fourth & Fifth Class girls who came along on the night and provided a magnificent choir. Well done everybody
· We are back into our school uniforms after St. Patrick’s Day.
· Congratulations to Rooms 16, 5 and 12 who have completed their ‘Write a Book’ project.
· Our really big news this month is that we were presented with our newest Green Flag. Watch out for more information about this.
