Dear Parents:
v
Lots of
exciting things happening in school: preparing for our concerts and
carol-singing.
v
In the
interests of the safety of all children we need your help with the following: Please do not park on the footpaths
in the laneways near the school. It poses considerable danger to families
trying to walk and a nuisance to the local residents.
v
We thank you
for attending our Parent-Teacher meetings.
v
The Parent’s Association met on Tuesday, 19th November. We
welcome both the familiar and new faces to our meetings.
v
It is school
policy to make an appointment at the office should you wish to meet/speak to a
class teacher. Please do not approach
class teachers when they are teaching their class.
v
Thank you for
being so good about sending children into the hall alone and then leaving the
school.
v
If you have a
child starting school in September 2014 or if you know someone who has, please
make sure that s(he) is enrolled. Our classes are almost full. Forms are
available in the office
v
We had a very
successful collection for The Philippines. Thank you for your support. We
collected €535!
v
After-School activities come to an end this week. Please collect
at the normal time – 2.30pm next week.
v
A Big
thanks to the parents who participated in science for fun, quick reads and
maths eyes.
v
We
had a double slide installed in our infant back yard. The up-grade of the back
yard is now complete and our junior classes are really enjoying playing there.
v
We extend
‘Seasons Greetings’ to all of our families. We have enjoyed working with you
during 2013 and look forward to an exciting 2014.
