WORLD BOOK WEEK
All of our classes participated in activities for
World Book Week organised by Muinteoir Siobhan. Pupils also enjoyed lots of reading activities in their classrooms. Classes visited Charlie Byrne’s Book Store, Dubray Book Store and Easons. We had great fun dressing – up as our favourite book characters.

Green School News

Fiona Coen from Galway City Council and Tiernan Mc Cusker from An Taisce visited our school on February 5th.
They carried out the  assessment for our sixth green flag on Global Citizenship and Awareness-Litter and Waste.
They met with the pupils on the green schools committee and also visited all the classes to view the projects the pupils had been working on. They were very impressed with all the work we have done over the last two years and now we are waiting to hear from An Taisce if we have been successful.
Keep up the good work on Litter and Waste!
