PARENTS:

· Welcome back to school and Happy New Year everybody. The news is that Santa came to all the wonderful children in Scoil an Linbh Iosa and that they were all very happy on Christmas morning.

· Our Christmas Carol singing was not a great success as much of it had to be cancelled due to weather conditions. It was too cold and dangerous to venture out. Thanks to all who came out to listen to us and to cheer us on at the Christmas Market and at the Live Crib. Special thanks to all the teachers who helped with our singing and music.

· We hope you all enjoyed our Christmas Concert. We are so proud of all our superstars and the teachers who helped them to be superstars.

· Committee of School Parents Association met again on Tuesday 18th January.

· We were very proud of the children in December. Overall, the attendance was excellent, despite the horrible weather conditions. Well done again.

· Please make sure that we have up to date telephone numbers and addresses for you, otherwise it will be difficult for you to receive important information by post or by text.

· We would like to remind you that, by law, there is no smoking allowed in the school building or in the school grounds, including the yard/playground areas.
