WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO US

*Room 12 and Room 5 went to the University as part of ‘Maths for Fun Week’. They are also preparing to sing at the ‘Peace Proms’, which take place in February. This is a chance for us to sing with hundreds of children and with a full orchestra concert. Already we are working hard.

*Look out for news about ‘One Book, One Galway’ in which we plan to take part. You will soon receive a special note about this project.

*Our Senior Girls are involved in poetry workshops for ‘Eurochild’. Eurochild is a project involving children writing poetry for children, some of which is published in the ‘Eurochild Anthology of Poetry.’

*Room 15 and Room 12 had great fun in their classrooms at lunchtime during Maths Week. They were playing’Maths Games’.

*Room 14 Visited the Library and were told very funny stories by Niall de Burca. They really enjoyed it.

*Well done to Room 9 who won the ‘Golden Boot’ for October. They are the youngest and newest people in the school. Didn’t they do well! Keep it up
